Hi! I’m Kai. (Pronounced “K”) I'm a Certified Family Dog Mediator and Owner, Founder, and Head Teacher “Trainer” of PawPerception. I’m 27 and have a 7 and a half year old Golden Retriever of my own, Arlen. Avidly studying dogs’ and animals’ minds has been my lifelong passion and drive.

PawPerception focuses on understanding what makes our dogs who they are and how to communicate and work with them in our daily lives. Helping dogs communicate with their humans, and teaching their humans how to communicate with their dogs with a much deeper understanding between them.

I’m here to help you move closer to the dream you had in mind when you brought this furry companion into your world.

Beyond Dog Training, Family Dog Mediation looks at all parts of a dog. Their L.E.G.S., Learning, Environment, Genetics, and Self. While I'm a Dog Trainer, the title sounds misleading to me. Dogs are intelligent individual beings, not simply robots to be programmed and follow our every whim. There's so much more than "training" to help your dog become balanced, secure, a partner, and a cohesive member of the family. We look at the whole picture, WHY before HOW, and you'll be learning just as much- or more - as your furry sidekick. I'm a Dog Teacher, Family Mentor, Dog Guide, a Family Dog Mediator.
